Jeremy Al-Haj is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Missouri Workers Center, a grassroots organization dedicated to winning good jobs and defeating racism. Recognized for his decade-plus of organizing, Jeremy built the foundation of the MWC through Stand Up KC, which successfully won a landmark statewide minimum wage increase for all workers. Since the Center’s founding, his leadership has secured transformative policy wins, including Renters’ Right to Counsel in Kansas City and an estimated $12.5 million in total annual wage increases for St. Louis-area Amazon workers. His organizing work has also been instrumental in key statewide ballot measure victories, notably the campaign to protect reproductive rights in Missouri.
